I am an established phone interpreter for a globally recognized company. I have extensive movie translating and subtitling experience, along with varied translation work in many types of manuals (including multiple fields). I have worked as a Senior Dutch proof-reader for an international company too. All of these facets of my language skills give me a complete, well-rounded, and balanced professional language background.

I work as a freelance translator since 2005 (full-time from 2005 to 2008 and since 2017) and have worked as an internal translator for a translation agency in the meantime (from 2008 to 2017). Before that, I worked in customer service jobs for several companies in different industries (marketing, leasing, etc.)

12 years of experience, mostly in IT, travel and tourism, retail, religion and history.

Through the years I have made translations of various texts for agencies worldwide as well as directly for end clients. I have also worked as a translator/ international correspondent for Tyco Valves & Controls (pumps and valves industry), from 2005 through 2009, and for Hero Breda (food industry), from 1992 through 1996. In these jobs I learnt a lot about the translation of technical and practical subjects and natural sciences. I now combine my love for and knowledge of these subjects with my love for languages and translation. I developed a taste for the literary genre as well: since 2012 I have worked closely with a publishing company, called ClusterEffect, and have translated several novels, both fiction and non-fiction. To name a few: The New Medicine Man (Boris Bouricius), The New World Order (Han Peeters), Sleeping Ulysses (Jess Jordan).

Belgian Trilingual. Born and raised in Antwerp (Dutch is my mother language) and now living in beautiful Wallonia (French speaking part of Belgium). Languages have always been a passion for me. Little note: Proud mom of trilingual kids as well!! ;-)
