If you are looking for someone to translate not only the words but also the flow of your written piece, look no further! I am a Dutch Honours psychology student with the Open University. As such, I speak, read and write both English and Dutch on a daily basis. My writing endeavours take place within academic, creative and social context, so I am eager to work on a wide variety of projects. Beyond this, I own a one-man company, WordWright, which is the result of my New Year's resolution for 2018. My goal was to turn my work as a translator into my primary source of income and creating this small business was my first step towards achieving that. At present, I am a regular translator with Venngage (Canada) and Grupo M Contigo (Spain), and a regular content creator with WhiteCitadel (the Netherlands).

Through work I have been able to develop my passion for language well. I translate from Spanish to Dutch, English to Dutch, and vice versa.

Since 2015 I have been self-employed and I mainly do translations for companies in the UK/USA and the Netherlands. I love my work and always try to make the best of it. A native Dutch speaker that is graduated as a translator for the languages German and Russian and that has working experience in marketing, tourism, media, logistics and chemistry. She has worked for three years in the United States and therefore she feels comfortable enough to provide also translation services from English into Dutch.

Through the years I have made translations of various texts for agencies worldwide as well as directly for end clients. I have also worked as a translator/ international correspondent for Tyco Valves & Controls (pumps and valves industry), from 2005 through 2009, and for Hero Breda (food industry), from 1992 through 1996. In these jobs I learnt a lot about the translation of technical and practical subjects and natural sciences. I now combine my love for and knowledge of these subjects with my love for languages and translation. I developed a taste for the literary genre as well: since 2012 I have worked closely with a publishing company, called ClusterEffect, and have translated several novels, both fiction and non-fiction. To name a few: The New Medicine Man (Boris Bouricius), The New World Order (Han Peeters), Sleeping Ulysses (Jess Jordan).
