Moiety Translations is a small two-person translation agency based in Jyväskylä, Finland that specializes in English-Finnish translations, though we do Swedish-Finnish translations as well. Both of our translators are native Finnish speakers with Master's degrees in English and Translation (University of Eastern Finland). We have experience on several different types of translations: for example, texts related to medicine, marketing, logistics, and design. We have also worked as interpreters and proofreaders.

I am a English & German native speaker with a great passion for language. Since 2014 I have been working as English to German freelance translator. In addition to that I have also gained valuable in-house experience by working at established and well-known translation agencies occupying roles as translation checker and proof-reader as well as project manager and translator.

Hello! I'm Matti, detail-oriented Bachelor of Engineering. I've very technical background, I work also as product specialist and use almost daily English for communicating. Usually written, spoken about once in month. I also have to write instructions to technicians so I have really think how things has to be told to be understood. I also used to proofread technical documents translations to Finnish. Also Excel is major part of my job, so I'm quite good with it. Actually I have used computers over 30 years, so know something of them. I have experience of some user interface translations (automation system and e-mail software). I accept many kind of tasks, mainly translations/proofreading, also transcription is now familiar. If I send proposal, I'm interested of and motivated for your task.
