I'm a French native speaker from Brussels, Belgium (born in 1981). I live in the US since 1994 and I'm working as a Translator/Proofreader -French (France and Belgium), English (UK/US), Spanish (Spain/Latin America/US), some Italian to English (2007-present) and French, and Consecutive Interpreter - French, English, Spanish (2009-present) - currently in NY. For certain advanced/expert translation, I'm more comfortable translating into English. I hold an Associates of Arts degree from Westchester Community College and a Masters of Arts and Bachelors of Arts in Spanish, with a Minor concentration/specialisation in Italian from Iona College, Cum Laude ( similar to with distinction or with honours mention). I'm a Candidate in the Spanish to English Translation Programme at NYU CPS (NY University School of Continuing and Professional Studies) to earn my Translation Certificates and pursuing continuing adult education/professional translation studies at Translation and Interpreter Training at International School of Linguists and other companies. I also hope to become an accomplished author/writer and poet.

I strongly believe that to translate accurately, one needs to master not only the languages and translation techniques but also the subject in both the source and target languages. I am also convinced that to be an efficient translator, one needs to be flexible, be able to work alone or within a constantly moving team and have good organisational skills. My goal when I translate is to release well finished documents or applications that will be easy and pleasant to use.
