Hello, My name is Sarah BRAHY, I am a French freelance translator. I translate all kind of documents from English and Chinese to French in several fields (IT, marketing, law, tourism). I offer translation, proofreading and post-editing services. I have a Masters in translation from Aix-Marseille University in France. I am professional translator since 2017 but worked as a volunteer translator during my studies. I mainly work with SDL Trados, but I also use MemoQ, Memsource and some online CAT Tools. From 1990 to 2003, I worked mainly as programmer, using various languages such as Fortran, Pascal, C, Visual Basic, SQL, Javascript and Perl and as system administrator, setting computers and networks and familiar with UNIX, and most of Windows OS and Mac OS versions. - From 2001 to 2010, I worked as French translator in an in-house translation department, translating over 7 millions words. This included company literature, magazines, services brochures, finance manuals, computers manuals, Web sites, voice over scripts and subtitles. - From 2011 to 2015, I became a Translation System Manager, implementing the SDL WorldServer solution in my department, setting up the software including workflows and filters, writing training material for the translators and translation manager and getting the system in used.
