I'm a versatile translator who can translate websites, articles, blog posts, e-books on just about any topics. I have done so for years for a number of distinctive clients about a plethora of different topics. I'm a French Canadian from the Gaspe Peninsula and grew up speaking both French and English. Therefore, I consider them both as my native languages. Going from one language into the other has literally become second nature to me. I'm a professional French native translator/proofreader for more than 5 years and I do have a great multitasking experience from different projects that I handled in the past years from a freelancer to a local professional. I am a senior French translator (EN, ES and PT into FR) with 12 years of experience in economics, business, and legal translation (and 7 years of prior experience in IT services sales teams). I have a comprehensive knowledge of CAT and DTP tools and strong skills in text editing, terminology management and project coordination. I first graduated from a French Business School (EDHEC 1995) and worked as an IT services saleswoman for 7 years (sectors: aeronautics and defence; health industry). Additionally, I grew up in the bilingual city of Montréal where these two languages are used interchangeably. I have been working as a translator since 2018, when I started to attend the Languages and Cultures for Tourism and International Mediation course at the University of Bari. I graduated with the highest grade (110 e lode) and started my specialisation at the University of Turin (a Translation course focusing on literary translation). I work from both English and French and I am fond of literature: novels, poetry, theatre are my highest aims.

I've entered the field of translation in 2016 after being involved in other activities after finishing my masters in Translation studies. So, it was somehow going back to my first love.
