I am a French native speaker. I am an experienced, highly-proficient, intuitive Translator. I have a Bachelor Degree in Information and Communication studies and a Masters in Film Analysis and Scriptwriting. Thanks to my studies, I can manage technical translations on those fields: IT and telecom, marketing and business, sociology, linguistics, fiction, script, arts and culture. Because of my interests in fashion, travel and food, I am also good at translating those areas. I have translated several documents including novels, academic papers, biographies, websites, subtitles files. In the last two jobs I had (one at a statistics company and another at an international cooperation NGO) I have been tasked regularly to translate documents from French to English and from English to French. From 1990 to 2003, I worked mainly as programmer, using various languages such as Fortran, Pascal, C, Visual Basic, SQL, Javascript and Perl and as system administrator, setting computers and networks and familiar with UNIX, and most of Windows OS and Mac OS versions. - From 2001 to 2010, I worked as French translator in an in-house translation department, translating over 7 millions words.
