I'm a bilingual English/French, multi-skilled down to earth person, reliable & talented translator with a proven ability to translate written documents from a source language to a target language with a wide experience in editing, proofreading, subtitling and transcription services. I have more than 4 years of experience in Communication & Marketing and over 10 years of experience as a Freelance Translator/Interpreter and proofreader. I have worked on several projects for renowned organizations such as Humedica, Mercy Ships, MTN and National Geographic. I am passionate about the English language and translation. In 2008, while I was sophomore, I was nominated for the Best English Speaker award of my University and received books with the congratulations of the US Embassy of Benin. I am here to offer my experience in creating and translating all kinds of contents.

I am currently enrolled in a Multilingual Master in Psycho- and Neurolinguistics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). I studied French, Latin and English language and literature at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven). I also have studied medicine at the University of Liège (ULiège).

I have been working in companies in Hamburg for the past two years as a student assistant. In the last two jobs I had (one at a statistics company and another at an international cooperation NGO) I have been tasked regularly to translate documents from French to English and from English to French. Additionally, I grew up in the bilingual city of Montréal where these two languages are used interchangeably. I did all my elementary and secondary education in French and all my university (first and second cycles) in English.

I am a transparent, goal-oriented, and perfectionist professional with a positive perspective. I enjoy remote work and carefully follow instructions and I find it easy to work for long periods including during the night and maintain my attention to detail. That comes, of course, from having a genuine interest in Languages and Translation since I was a child and constant curiosity in researching different topics. I provide translation, retroversion, proofreading, transcription, and captioning services in general and specialized domains with appropriate technical resources. I would also like to add that I can handle deadlines just fine.
