I am a native German and a professional translator for 22 years. During this time I specialized in technical, medical, legal, IT and website translations. Over the past years, I have also translated a couple of books (novels) for both well-known international authors and emerging writers. I love translating legal documents (e.g. contracts, certificates, notarial certificates, licenses, patents, apostilles, legalizations) and other documents such as books, emails, academic transcripts, websites, and user guides.

I began working as a freelance translator during my master studies at the University of Vienna in 2013. During this period I mostly did subtitling jobs for the Austrian Film Museum in Vienna. After my graduation in January 2015 I began to work with several translation agencies, specialising in tourism, arts and culture, legal texts, website translation, marketing and cosmetics.

1985 - 1999: Employment as a translator and interpreter in the import/export sector (machinery, IT). Responsible for technical and legal translations, and consecutive conference interpreting. I've been working as a tutor (English and German) for 3 years and as a translator (freelance) for a year and a half. I fluently speak English and German. Moreover I can work with the business communication, translating articles on the business topics and so on.
