I have been certified as a translator in English by the Federal Republic of Germany in Karlsruhe and in my work I am dedicated to thoroughness, exactness and intelligibility. My interests cover such areas as history, politics, philosophy, science fiction, fantasy and horror literature. My favorite book is Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell and my most-read authors are Stephen King, H. P. Lovecraft and Clive Barker.

A deeply experienced, well-travelled executive with a strong background in a number of sectors: Administration, Enterprise Level IT, Logistics and Project Management. Mikael moved to Hong Kong from Germany at the age of 16. After graduating he underwent an education as an “Office Management Assistant”, a typical German program that guides one through all departments within a company. Since that time he spent most of his years in Hong Kong, working in and travelling to various countries within Asia, Europe and also the US. He has especially strong knowledge of the Asian market, having spent the past 33 years in Hong Kong with international exposure. During his career he was fortunate to have worked with a fascinating range of products, services, group of companies and individuals, creating, building and leading brands and different markets; From technical consumables to hi-tech machineries.

Originally from Germany, I have spent the last 8 years working and living abroad, improving and building upon my language skills. Graduated with a Master's Degree in Automotive Engineering, I have more than 3 years post-graduate experience in the mechanical engineering industry. I am highly specialized in technical translation, especially for the automotive & engineering business and can guarantee excellent written content for a better & smoother readers’ experience as well as deadline commitment.
