I have been working as a translator since 2018, when I started to attend the Languages and Cultures for Tourism and International Mediation course at the University of Bari. I graduated with the highest grade (110 e lode) and started my specialisation at the University of Turin (a Translation course focusing on literary translation). I work from both English and French and I am fond of literature: novels, poetry, theatre are my highest aims.

I have been working as translator since the graduation from University for foreign languages where I studied English, Italian and German language. My work as interpreter and translator is based on work in retail, marketing, law firm, NGO on protection for human rights. In different areas of my work I gained expertise in different sectors such as economics, finance, law and marketing. However, other areas of work are more than familiar to me.

At that time, I understood that what made me really excited about was studying languages as a tool of communication and sharing so, after obtaining the diploma, I decided to make a change in my life by choosing a university focused on the practical study of languages in order to constantly apply the acquired skills and prove myself. ° ° ° I consider myself as an introvert and stubborn, but open-minded person, always willing to exchange views with others, to learn about different cultures and lifestyles, especially by travelling and getting to know new people. I started my career 21 years ago as in-house translator and PM at a translation agency based in Turin, Italy. After three years, I decided to take up the challenge and become a freelancer, in order to devote myself to those texts I was most interested in. My experience as PM gave me a deep insight into all aspects related to the translation process, thus I perfectly know and understand the needs and expectations of Project Managers whom I work with. I am able to work under pressure, and manage large volumes of work with no prejudice to quality. I am able to translate very technical texts, like instruction manuals for X-ray inspection systems, but also to use my creative side to produce translations of content marketing articles.
