I am a young, Italian freelance translator working with English and Russian. I have started working while I was still studying and now I have 3 years of experience in different fields from art to IT, through tourism and steelmaking. I was lucky enough to choose my job as well as my specialization fields: I need to have some real interest in the topic to provide a great service--earning money cannot be the only aim.

I started my career 21 years ago as in-house translator and PM at a translation agency based in Turin, Italy. After three years, I decided to take up the challenge and become a freelancer, in order to devote myself to those texts I was most interested in. My experience as PM gave me a deep insight into all aspects related to the translation process, thus I perfectly know and understand the needs and expectations of Project Managers whom I work with. I am able to work under pressure, and manage large volumes of work with no prejudice to quality. I am able to translate very technical texts, like instruction manuals for X-ray inspection systems, but also to use my creative side to produce translations of content marketing articles.

My name is Fanni, and I am currently studying International Business Economics at Corvinus University of Budapest. My native language is Hungarian, but besides that I speak English at an advanced level and I have an intermediate level Business Italian language certificate, moreover, I am preparing for an advanced level Business Italian language exam at the moment. I have translated theses, contracts, commercial texts and social media posts before, of which you can find some in my portfolio. I specialise in business-related translations, however, I enjoy being challenged and therefore I would be happy to translate other areas as well. I have great interest in languages, cultures and translation, I am motivated, ambitious, punctual and precise. I have a Bachelor's degree in Intercultural Communication, a Master's degree in Scientific and Technical translation and Interpreting, and a one-year Master's degree in Global Marketing. I currently work as a Junior Export Manager, therefore I am familiar with market-related documents. In addition, I am about to complete a professional course in legal and commercial translation with the language pairs EN>IT, RU>IT. I am professional, friendly and extremely helpful. My main aim is to ensure an efficient and optimal work, in accordance with customer requirements.
