I am a native Italian translator working with Russian, English and German. I have a Master's degree in Translation and Interpreting. I like to describe myself as an active guy, punctual, hard-working and always focused on improving myself.

My name is Guido Ballarini, I have 15 years of experience in the field as translator/editor from English to Italian and Italian proofreader. My mother tongue is Italian and I have lived for over 9 years in the United States and for 5 of these years I worked as a full-time in-house translator from English to Italian. In this period I honed my translator and CAT user skills to a very high level. I also have several years of experience as project manager, having run translation projects for over a dozen of languages for almost 3 years. I'm a linguistics-enthusiast italian guy who completed his bachelor degree in translation at the University of Genoa, Italy. I truly love experiencing and analyzing foreign cultures, reason why I have spent a considerable amount of time abroad considering my young age: I have lived in Russia for 1 month, in Poland for 5 months and in Australia for 15 months.
