Graduate in Linguistics at the Masters and Doctoral level, I have been working on several projects in diverse fields, ranging from marketing to sociology, from politics to IT. I'm an Italian TRANSLATOR, PROOFREADER, author and teacher with a degree in English Language and Literature. I translate from ENGLISH and FRENCH to ITALIAN, my native language, I have worked in the publishing field as an author and coauthor, writing and editing books, dictionaries and readers for students of English (for more than 12 years), and created crosswords and puzzles in English for a magazine published monthly (for about five years). Over 15 years of experience in the field, having worked in Italy as a translator and proofreader and recently in Denmark as an in-house translator and editor.

After graduating in Specialized Translation from Italy's Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators, I spent several years working as a translator, interpreter, editor and language consultant for an NGO sponsoring medical and environmental research. I am now working as a freelance translator, editor, proofreader and language consultant. My clients include not-for-profit organizations, publishing houses and LSPs. I specialize in environmental issues, agriculture, agricultural technology, food & drink, medical texts and research (especially nutrition and endocrinology), botany, biology, cosmetics, and international organizations. Native speaker of Italian and FCE in English, I graduated from high school where my studies were focussed on the IT field. I gained a lot of language and technical experience from many projects and I'm currently studying IT Engeneering at my local university.
