I'm a professional translator from English, French, Japanese into Italian (native speaker). I specialise in subtitles for TV shows, films and corporate videos but I also translate a wide range of texts, spanning from marketing and legal texts to videogame and software localisation. I work hard to ensure that the text is not only correct and accurate, but also natural. It means that I thoroughly research and study each topic I’m tasked with. The key words of my work are accuracy and reliability. When I translate my goal is to convey the message of the source text in the most correct and clearest way possible, without losing the perspective of how an Italian text should be written. I’ve also learned to find the best creative solutions for what cannot be expressed in the target language, solutions which are still consistent with the source message.

I am an Italian native graduated in foreign languages. I can translate from and into English, Italian, Spanish and French. In all my career as an employee I have been involved in translation projects. Since 2011 I started working as a freelance translator and interpreter. Most of my experience lies in marketing, media and sport.

I have been working as translator since the graduation from University for foreign languages where I studied English, Italian and German language. My work as interpreter and translator is based on work in retail, marketing, law firm, NGO on protection for human rights. I am a freelance translator, Italian mother tongue. I hold a Master's Degree in Technical Translation and another one in Ecnomics. . I'm an Italian native speaker with a MA in Philology and Ancient History, with expertise in translation from ancient languages (i.e. Ancient Greek and Latin) and modern languages (English, German and French). I'm passionate about ancient literature, linguistics, online communication, transcreation and web content editing, which are also my working fields. Although I have a humanistic perspective and education, I'm specialized in technical translation.

I started my career 21 years ago as in-house translator and PM at a translation agency based in Turin, Italy. After three years, I decided to take up the challenge and become a freelancer, in order to devote myself to those texts I was most interested in. My experience as PM gave me a deep insight into all aspects related to the translation process, thus I perfectly know and understand the needs and expectations of Project Managers whom I work with. I am able to work under pressure, and manage large volumes of work with no prejudice to quality. I am able to translate very technical texts, like instruction manuals for X-ray inspection systems, but also to use my creative side to produce translations of content marketing articles.

I am a full-time freelance translator with a BA in EN-IT translation obtained in 2001 from SSIT School of Milan. I have worked as in-house translator in the architect studio Eliotopia (Milan) for about a year, until I started to focus on my freelance carreer. It still remained one of my main clients throughout the years. I grew up in my family business, an international female, male and children's apparel store, making of fashion one of my specialty fields. After travelling from Ireland to Australia, I have settled in the pitoresque city of Cremona, cradle of ancient traditions and Stradivari violins. Today I mostly work with translations involving a creative style. From fashion to localization of videogames, websites, apps and softwares. I have been working as a translator since 2018, when I started to attend the Languages and Cultures for Tourism and International Mediation course at the University of Bari. I graduated with the highest grade (110 e lode) and started my specialisation at the University of Turin (a Translation course focusing on literary translation). I work from both English and French and I am fond of literature: novels, poetry, theatre are my highest aims.
