A self-taught English speaker in love with games, technology, and literature. I'm an undergraduate in the Linguistics areas, with a research published concerning translation studies. As such, I have been working as a translator for 8 years as a freelancer, specialized in game and fantasy stories. I have worked on the following translations: - Planetside 2 - Multiplatform game by Sony Entertainment - Eredan iTCG - Online Trading Card Game by Feerik Games - Eredan Arena - Collectible Card Game by Feerik Games - Oh My Dollz - Social Game by Feerik Games Also, I have research and developed a project about intermediatic translation concerning the game Warcraft and the movie Warcraft: The Beginning. Besides those, I have also worked in different areas, such as Customer Support, to which I have an article published and highlighted on LinkedIn, and Technology, as a Tester and Documentation Specialist.

I have worked as a translator, proofreader and editor in several specialized fields.I lived and worked in the USA for 10 years , therefore I am able to understand the intricacies of both languages and cultural contexts. I have extensive experience in translating, proofreading, subtitling and transcriptions . Grew up in England to Brazilian parents in a bilingual home, is a highly experienced interpreter with over 400 days in the booth, and has interpreted at the highest levels for fortune 500 CEOs, governors, mayors, and Royalty. 95% of my work is simultaneous interpreting and of that 90% highly technical. Is also experienced in RSI platforms. I´m looking to leverage my written translation work and gain more experience in this field. Also a lawyer, gamer, and all-around generalist.

My native language is Portuguese. I was certified Portuguese interpreter and translator by the state of Texas in 2004 by the Dallas County Community College System.

I am a translation student who has been working with translation since 2018. I have translated all kinds of texts of texts, from poetry to academic essays and articles. Since I am at university exclusively studying translation, I have a vast theoretical background combined with translation practice since it is part of the course curriculum. I have been part of a scientific initiation project for undergraduates and received an honorable mention for it.
