Grew up in England to Brazilian parents in a bilingual home, is a highly experienced interpreter with over 400 days in the booth, and has interpreted at the highest levels for fortune 500 CEOs, governors, mayors, and Royalty. 95% of my work is simultaneous interpreting and of that 90% highly technical. My passion lies in translation, entrepreneurship and helping people. After studying business administration at London Metropolitan University, I began my career working in finance, energy and telecommunications in Maputo, Mozambique. In 2013, I founded Navitas Group Lda, a company that aimed to disrupt the stagnant translation market in Mozambique. Mainly, I want to focus on using translation to facilitate communication between individuals and companies, as well as participating in entrepreneurial endeavors that catalyze socio-economic development. I have a depth of experience working in telecommunications, energy and new business development as well as 19 years of experience of translation and intercultural communication.
