I'm a freelance technical translator and editor in the language pair EN-PT(pt). I have 10 years of experience in the IT and computing areas translating technical and marketing material for leading tech companies and brands in the international hardware and software market. I'm specialized in IT, computer software and hardware, consumer electronics, Internet, social media, and telecommunications. My other fields of experience include games/software localization and testing, business and finance, marketing and advertising, and tourism.

First, I would like to introduce myself very briefly. I am a 42-year old native Portuguese speaker, who grew, studied and, nowadays, works in Portugal (in the city with the famous hovering umbrella installation, by the way). Before finishing university I decided to interrupt studies to work as an expatriate translator/interpreter in a construction project with a Portuguese company in Barbados.
