I'm a translator and interpreter for 15+ years with vast experience in many fields of knowledge and media, with a background in Journalism.

I am a translation student who has been working with translation since 2018. I have translated all kinds of texts of texts, from poetry to academic essays and articles. Since I am at university exclusively studying translation, I have a vast theoretical background combined with translation practice since it is part of the course curriculum. I have been part of a scientific initiation project for undergraduates and received an honorable mention for it.

I am an English teacher and translator, with fluent level of English and native Brazilian Portuguese.

I started translating in 2005 when I was a teenager. I had a Brazilian forum about a Korean singer and most of the news we've got were in English. I translated all the English news we could find into Portuguese so our friends and visitors could read too. In 2009 I got into Languages course in college, thinking in becoming a literary translator since I really love to read. I translated short stories, ended up learning how to subtitle, all to family and friends. Late in 2015, I started my specialization in English - Portuguese translation where I've learned a lot about this amazing career. In 2016 I got my first paid jobs in translation and I've joined Babelcube, Coursera, and TedTalks to improve my skills. Today, I translate more technical texts than literature. But I can't say it isn't amazing. I've learned so many new things, and so much about myself in the process that I must say it is a win-win situation.

I am a native Brazilian. My knowledge in English is based on 5 years of study in the Cultural Center for Language Studies and 4 years working as a freelancer on several outsourcing platforms.

In the medical field, I have translated protocols for clinical trials, questionnaires, and investigator’s brochures on new drugs.
