Professional translator

I've been working as a freelance translator since October 2019. Since then, I translated more than 250 thousand words, and proofread/revised more than 85 thousand words, both from English and Russian to Brazilian Portuguese. Games are my main field of expertise, and I am experienced with online games (adventure; hidden objects; casino/betting games). Also, I performed many jobs in the field of marketing (CPA, Affiliate Network), websites and mobile apps. Because of my formation and personal interests, I feel comfortable translating texts from Humanities in general. I work with TRADOS (2021), MemoQ, Smartcat, CrowdIn, WebTranslateIt.

I am a transparent, goal-oriented, and perfectionist professional with a positive perspective. I enjoy remote work and carefully follow instructions and I find it easy to work for long periods including during the night and maintain my attention to detail. That comes, of course, from having a genuine interest in Languages and Translation since I was a child and constant curiosity in researching different topics. I provide translation, retroversion, proofreading, transcription, and captioning services in general and specialized domains with appropriate technical resources. I graduated in Translation and Language Studies (Letras) in 2004 and also work as an English and Portuguese teacher at public schools since 2005. During this period I have been working as a freelance translator and proof-reader and, truly, that is my passion.

My native language is Portuguese. I was certified Portuguese interpreter and translator by the state of Texas in 2004 by the Dallas County Community College System.
