I am an experienced Russian and Romanian translator/proofreader/transcriber with a strong focus on the tourism and hospitality industries. I have always had a keen interest in languages and I have successfully worked with several language service providers on various translation projects that demanded attention to details and working around tight deadlines.

I translate from English and German into Russian and Belarusian. Russian & Belarusian are my native languages, I am bilingual. I have appropriate linguistic education (Minsk State Linguistic University, graduated in 2000) and translation experience since 1999 including jobs for direct customers and translation agencies. When translating, I research to find appropriate translations of terms and common terminology. After the text is translated, I check the translation against the source so there are no mistakes and inconsistency in the text, and then I run spell-check. I took part in EU Tacis project, World Bank project implemented in our region and DFID project of UK government implemented here in Ukraine. I worked as a full-time banking translator for 10 years and obtained valuable experience in translation of all kinds of financial statements and reports.
