I have over 15 years of experience in the translation industry, including 5 practicing law, 5 as a freelance translator in IT-company, and 10 years as a technical translator in a well-known oil&gas company. I do not have a linguistic education, but in the process of my education, working as a lecturer, a researcher and an IT manager (up to CIO), I very often had to apply my knowledge of English for reading and translating English literature and documentation.
