After being trained as a translator at university, I spent several years preparing students for Cambridge examinations (such as IELTS, FCE and CAE). I've been working as a translator and interpreter for more than 25 years and I've acquired a lot of experience in various fields such as legal, engineering, information technology, power plants, oil&gas, etc. However, I'm far from resting on my laurels since I understand very well that the languages are dynamic and the world is constantly changing, so I'm in the constant pursuit of new skills and knowledge that'd help me to stay up-to-date and do my job in the most efficient and precise manner.

I am a certified translator, conference interpreter, engineer and Candidate of technical sciences (kandidat nauk). My language-related hobbies include etymology and comparative linguistics. * Yes, I do speak several languages. * No, I am not fluent enought in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish, Azerbaijani or Arabic to translate TO these languages, but I do understand them enough to translate FROM them.

Right now I'm working in Kazakh private aviation company El Samgau as a Chinese-Russian, English-Russian translator. I'm also part-working as an online Chinese, English and German teacher in international school ITGENIO. From september 2022 to December 2022 I worked in foreign language school Arboris (located in Izhevsk, Russia). I conducted express courses on English grammar, phonology and reading rules. From September of 2020 to May 2021 I worked as a volunteer in Udmurt State University to help international students. My duties included: meeting international students in airport, accompanying them to a resedence, translation of documents, helping with documents, helping with settlement, helping with adaptation, conducting city tours, helping with conference translations.
