I have over 25 years of experience as a freelance translator, in various fields. I started as a translatir of fiction and non-fiction books for the Popurri Publishing House in Minsk, Belarus, in early 1990s. Later I was enrolled on a EU Tacis technical assitance project dealing with employment sevices as a transportation officer/translator where I was responsible, among other things, for delivering everyday translations. In parallel, I did freelance jobs for various translation agencies and the above publishing house. For the last 4-5 years, I have been very successfully collaborating with a UK-based translation agency which almost entirely deals with healthcare and pharmacology-related translations. A lion share of this work has been from Russian to English. My previous experience working as a crew member on international TA projects had helped me polish this particular language pair.
