Originally from Almaty, Kazakhstan (Russian speaking), I have lived in the United States since 1996. I graduated high school in Midland, Texas, then received my first bachelors degree from Central Texas College, majoring in Computer Science. After several years, I went back to school to major in International Studies at the University of California in San Diego. Passionate for languages and cultural learning, I have lived and studied in Morelia, Mexico and Barcelona, Spain. I have worked as a freelance translator and localization expert since 2009 and have great knowledge in mobile game and app localization. Other projects throughout the years have included fiction, history and biography books, articles, and legal documents. I translate Russian to English myself and run a team of ten other translators, who work in most popular European and Asian languages. Every member of the team is a native speaker of the language he/she works in.

Greetings! Welcome to my profile! I am a professional certified translator and interpreter, a natural bilingual and a passionate linguist for whom translation is an inevitable part of daily life. Learning new things has always been an exciting experience, so I got interested in law and human rights, medicine, technologies, and art. For when I go deep into any of the above-mentioned subject, I am mesmerized by the beauty of human thought, this unbelievable power to discover cures for lethal diseases and change the history, fight for justice and equality, make the difference and make this world a better place for us all.
