Unfortunately, life is too short and there are so many interesting things over there. But I found my way to be involved and help to create something valuable – I became a translator and interpreter. This way, I can focus on delivering the best quality and take pride in my job.

I do not have a linguistic education, but in the process of my education, working as a lecturer, a researcher and an IT manager (up to CIO), I very often had to apply my knowledge of English for reading and translating English literature and documentation. Since 2017, translation has become the main activity for me. In this work I always try to achieve a meaningful result. Machine translation is mostly not used, although occasionally I resort to it, if the subject allows. I intensively use the CAT-system tools: translation memory, glossaries, concordance search. In the search for translations of terms I use all available means taking into account the context. I can aloso translate into another direction (English) but it's a torture for me because I'm not native in it.

I hold a PhD diploma in genetics. Since 2016 I have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter for a number of translation agencies around the globe.
