Greetings! Welcome to my profile! I am a professional certified translator and interpreter, a natural bilingual and a passionate linguist for whom translation is an inevitable part of daily life. Learning new things has always been an exciting experience, so I got interested in law and human rights, medicine, technologies, and art. In 2018, I graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Economics with a bachelor's degree in Linguistics. I majored in Translation in Economics and Finance. In 2020, I graduated from the St. Petersburg State University with a master’s degree in International Relations. I majored in Studies of the Baltic and Nordic Countries. Seeking a position of translator with organizations/companies engaged in international cooperation and external relations. I have the skills of technical/literary/scientific translation, business correspondence and document management, translation of contracts, text editing and proofreading. I have been doing translations since 2006. I'm also running a translation agency, however that's a separate business, and you can be sure that all translations at smartcat are done by me personally. I am a certified translator, conference interpreter, engineer and Candidate of technical sciences (kandidat nauk). My language-related hobbies include etymology and comparative linguistics. * Yes, I do speak several languages. * No, I am not fluent enought in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish, Azerbaijani or Arabic to translate TO these languages, but I do understand them enough to translate FROM them.
