I translate English into Greek and into Russian in which I am fully bilingual. I, also, proofread texts in these languages and create subtitles. Simultaneous and consecutive interpretation between Greek and Russian is also a service I provide. I do not have a linguistic education, but in the process of my education, working as a lecturer, a researcher and an IT manager (up to CIO), I very often had to apply my knowledge of English for reading and translating English literature and documentation. Since 2017, translation has become the main activity for me. In this work I always try to achieve a meaningful result. Machine translation is mostly not used, although occasionally I resort to it, if the subject allows. I intensively use the CAT-system tools: translation memory, glossaries, concordance search. In the search for translations of terms I use all available means taking into account the context. I can aloso translate into another direction (English) but it's a torture for me because I'm not native in it.

Since graduation, I've been working as a freelancer for the Translation Department at my University as well as for other companies. My experience includes work on projects in Economics and Finance, Marketing, Medicine, Construction, Sports, Games Localization, etc.
