Greetings, I am a freelancer English into Spanish and Spanish into English translator, transcriber and proofreader with over 4 years of experience. I am an architect and a MSc. and I have a double nationality: Venezuelan and Colombian. I am currently living in Bogotá D.C. 1. Language pair: Spanish LATAM (native) <>English (fluent) 2. Rate per source word: USD 0.05 (translation) USD 0.03 (editing and proofreading) These are obviously negotiable! 3. Major experience: literary (erotica, children and crime content ebooks) technical (handbooks, tender specifications), legal (transcriptions, agreements, certificates) and medical content (articles, medical records, pharmaceutical) 4. I have worked in-house as a PM and a translator both in Canada and in Argentina. I have been working with agencies around the world (China, US, Canada, France, etc.) for more than 15 years. I started my career as professional translator in 1995, when I joined the foreign department of a pharmaceutical company. At that time, I enjoyed an international environment, giving me the possibility to work extensively in different kind of documents, including technical translations, legal and financial. Afterwards in 2005, 9 years later, I started my career as independent translator.
