I enjoy translation for many reasons. I have always had an interest in foreign languages and cultures, so it is a pleasure for me to have the opportunity to work with them. I also find the process of researching a subject to ensure a solid translation to be particularly satisfying, as well as investigating the expressive possibilities of my target language, an aspect of the translation process that is often overlooked and yet an important element of the quality of the final product. I have experience using tools such as Trados or Memsource, as well as the various reliable reference sources for each language (DIEC; Treccani; RAE; Τριανταφυλλίδη...). The type of translation that most attracts my attention is literary, although I have extensive demonstrable experience in the field of technical translation (recent projects being for the nautical and stone industry). Graduated in Human Resources Management, the major contribution of my career to my current profession was the elaboration of reports and research projects. Since 2010 I worked as a research methodology consultant. In 2015 I started working as a web copywriter and editor of texts in Spanish, using this knowledge to increase my level of English and to improve the results achieved in my works translated from English to Spanish.
