I was born and raised in Guatemala, where I attended an American school learning English as a Native rather than as a second language. Afterwards in 2005, 9 years later, I started my career as independent translator. I have 31 years of experience teaching and tutoring all levels of Spanish. With a Master's Degree in the Spanish Language and Literature from Middlebury College, VT, I consider myself to be a grammar expert, in addition to being fluent in the language. I had study abroad experiences in Mexico prior to living in Madrid during graduate school.
