Hi! I'm a professional translator from Spain with a degree in English studies: linguistics, grammar, literature and translation, and a Master's in literary translation. From studying and living abroad, currently living in Ireland, I have a firm grasp of Spanish and English/American cultures and as such can create natural and human translations. Amongst my recent translation work I can highlight: - Audio-visual media (movies, cartoons and documentaries) - Webpages (Provincial governmental, Amazon lists) - Tourist guides - Wine tasting notes - Literature (Novels, essays and short stories) - Educational documents. I am looking for jobs that involve general translation (English to Spanish, Spanish to English) but I also have a special interest in creative and literary text translations. I am also an online teacher both for English and Spanish.

I am a freelance translator (EN>ES) and also a proofreader and localizer. I have a Degree in Translation and Interpreting (EN/DE>ES), and a Master's Degree in Translation and New Technologies: Translation of Software and Multimedia Products. I also have a Spanish Professional Proofreading Course. I have worked for several translation companies translating, editing, proofreading, localizing texts about marketing, website, software, business management and leadership, tourism, education, food, automotive, technology, jewellery, fashion, innovation, medical tests, art and culture, legal and social media, among others.

I grew up speaking Spanish at home and English at school, learning to have full command of either language from a young age. With a background teaching English as a second and foreign language to Spanish and Japanese native speakers, I can take complex ideas and translate them without losing the meaning or concept behind the words and grasp the nuances of the language. I've had the opportunity to do live translations, both En > Es and Es > En. While working at an English school, I also had the chance to translate technical documents and manuals from English to Spanish for a large manufacturing company in the automobile industry.

I consider myself a perfectionist who likes to do his job optimally and punctually. I am friendly, optimistic, and above all, a good partner in whom you can trust. I also enjoy multitasking and working as a team, as cooperation is essential for a company to thrive.
