My name is Cristina Fernández and I am a full-time Spanish translator and proofreader. I hold a degree in Translation and Interpreting (University of Salamanca, 2012). I am native in Spanish (EU) and I am fluent in English and French. I am a native Spanish speaker from Argentina living in Brazil since 2007. I studied English-Spanish translation in Argentina before coming to Brazil, and became a bachelor in Letters here in Brazil in 2013. I teach both Spanish and Portuguese as a foreign language. In translation I have worked in several fields, from literature and Human/Social Sciences to movies and sports, or form sales logistics to Geo Sciences and Telecom

I am a Certified English-Spanish Translator with over 10 years of experience working freelance in Legal, Business and Technical translations. My experience includes international organizations, having been a UN intern. As a Sworn Translator, I work on legal translations, including serving as an assistant legal expert for Argentine Courts. In more recent years and following my clients’ requirements, my career has turned to specializing in IT, software and technology.
