As an immigrant in the USA I have experienced first hand the challenges of language barriers, and my passion for languages and desire to help my community motivated me to learn more about language services. I have a Bachelors degree in Spanish from Utah Valley University and I have been involved in translation and interpretation for the last 14 years. I have experience translating legal documents, religious articles and higher education content that has been used internationally. I am a NATIVE Spanish speaker, from Spain. I’ve been working as a freelance translator since 2006. I am fluent in English and Portuguese and have an extensive knowledge of IT, technology, finance, economics, business, games and marketing, fields I worked in for more than 12 years. As a translator, I have been working on multiple projects for multinationals such IBM and Telefonica. On a daily basis, I translate websites, landing pages, softwares, documents, emails, banners, blogs, contracts, etc. I got my degree in Economics and Business Administration by the University of Valladolid (Spain) back in 2002. I hold a Master’s Degree in Business Administration by the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, one of the most prominent Universities in Spain. I have an eye for detail and deliver spotless translations. I also work quickly, without affecting the quality of the projects I work on.

I have worked in-house as a PM and a translator both in Canada and in Argentina. I have been working with agencies around the world (China, US, Canada, France, etc.) for more than 15 years. Apart from having a translation degree, I have studied philosophy at the university, which provides me with additional tools that allow me to understand texts in depth and, most importantly, find the most accurate translation for every term because, after all, what is translation but giving a thing the precise name designated by a culture for it?

I am a qualified Spanish language specialist from Spain with 9 years of experience. I am a member of Asetrad and UniCo. I hold a degree in Translation and Interpreting (2009) and a postgraduate degree in Spanish Proofreading, Copyediting and Language Consulting (2018). During my degree I spent one year in Geneva. After graduating, I spent two years in Paris, where I first worked as a project manager and later as a web content editor and translator while I started freelancing. I then returned to Spain, where I worked as an in-house project manager, translator and reviser for several companies until I decided to become a full-time freelancer.
