Professional translator with 10 years of experience. I'm specialised in marketing, financial and technical translation. My working languages are English and French into Spanish (native). I also offer transcreation and copywriting services. I have 31 years of experience teaching and tutoring all levels of Spanish. With a Master's Degree in the Spanish Language and Literature from Middlebury College, VT, I consider myself to be a grammar expert, in addition to being fluent in the language. I had study abroad experiences in Mexico prior to living in Madrid during graduate school. In 2010 I spent the Winter-Spring semester traveling throughout Argentina and homeschooling my then 3rd grade son and 7th grade daughter. Also in 2010, I began a summer language immersion program, True Immersion, LLC, in Sevilla, Spain for American teens - which continues today. I am highly proficient in Italian - primarily self-taught - but have also studied at the Lorenzo de Medici and Centro Firenze language schools in Florence over the last 14 years. I am a professional translator since 2012. I grew up in France in a Spanish family, so I learned very early both languages. I studied law in France and Spain so I can translate to both languages. I am a sworn translator before the Tribunal Judiciaire of Perpignan and often perform translations and interpretations for this institution in the legal field (hearings, confrontations, reports, court decisions etc ..) I translate websites, contracts, business presentations, products descriptions, medical records etc ....

I am a qualified freelance sworn translator with more than 10 years of experience. I have a degree in Translation and Interpreting (Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria), and I am currently completing an MA in Audiovisual Translation (Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona) and another in Institutional Translation (Universidad de Alicante). I specialise in audiovisual, legal and marketing translation, as well as in video game localisation, and I am comfortable using a wide range of industry-standard CAT tools.
