Professional translator

I have been a freelance vendor for various localization projects since 2013, mostly working with SDL, El Turco and Localex. In the mean time I had the chance to work with several Cat and QA tools like: Trados Studio, MemoQ, Wordfast, Smartcat, Memsource, Transistor, Verifika, Apsic Xbench and so on.

In June 2022, I graduated from Istanbul University, Department of German Translation and Interpreting. I have been professionally providing translation services to many translation companies and offices for 1 year. I specialize in technical, legal and medical translations.

I'm an experienced English to Turkish translator with a degree in translation and interpreting. I currently work at a game localization and translation company. I am experienced in literary translations, game localization, Amazon/eBay listings, product descriptions, and general translations.

I have been translating from English to my native Turkish since 1995. I have a n engineering background and a solid industrial experience in manufacturing, QA/QC and OHSA fields.

I am from Uzbek roots citizen of Tajikistan and living last 7 years in Turkey. I have studied Russian, which is second official language of Tajikistan during primary, secondary and high school. I am a passionate and experienced translator, who has a degree in French-English-Turkish translation and interpretation. I have also lived in Germany for 4 years and can translate from German to Turkish. I am working as a full-time translator at the Ministry of Justice in Turkey. I also work at the Turkish Standards Institution as a part-time language expert and translate EC and ISO standards into Turkish. I graduated from Translation and Interpreting Studies Department in the year of 2012. As an undergraduate student at Boğaziçi University, I have improved my English speaking skills through the courses. Moreover, I cannot deny the great contribution of my visiting the USA and working there for three months. During my education I worked at different places, such as publishing houses, translation offices so as to gain experiences. Apart from translating legal and business documents for various local and international translation companies as a freelance translator, I have also edited a number of books, stories, poems and other creative texts. I also completed my M.A. in Comperative Literature at Istanbul Bilgi University, which contributed my academic and linguistic skills. Following that, I started my Phd at Translation and Interpreting Studies Department at Yıldız Technical University in 2017.
