I have been a freelance vendor for various localization projects since 2013, mostly working with SDL, El Turco and Localex. After working as a freelance translator for a while, I had localization training in ES Academy for 1 year. After completing my training, I took part in the translation projects of major software companies as an in-house employee of ES Language Services.Currently I have been working on the projects of major software companies. Hi, I am Mücahid, mostly called Muco for short :). I am a freelance translator with 2 years of experience. I have been speaking English for 17 years and French for 6 years. I am a huge books and movies nerd, and I am not just saying that, I love Star Wars Saga, Pulp Fiction (actually, nearly all movies made by Tarantino), Godfather, City of Women and a lot more... As a passionate linguist, I made my debut in the translation and localization world in 2014, when I was only a freshman in the university. I started as an intern and ended up to be freelance translator at SDL Turkey for 2 years. During this period of time, I gained immense amount of experience and I learned how to use multiple translation tools. Following that, I worked for a transcription company and made transcriptions of voice records both in English and Turkish. Finally, I started working with Localex in 2017 and that was one of the best decisions I made regarding my profession.
