I am a professional English <> Turkish translator and proofreader. I completed numerous projects for several clients in multiple specializations. I have been in translation business since 2002, and have knowledge about all types of documents and CAT software.

I have Bachelor's Degree in Translation & Interpreting Studies at Yeditepe University in Istanbul. Since the beginning of my education at this department, I have done many translations in EN > TR and TR > EN language pairs. I did my internship at ES Language Services, which is the first localization company to be established in Turkey and is widely known in localization sector. I have gained experience in website localization, IT texts and some other fields I listed on my profile during my internship and my education. I have been working with Bureau Translations and translated for clients like NBA and Harley Davidson since 2 years. I'm working as a freelance translator since 2007 and my main expertise areas are IT, technical, and video games. I also work on marketing, social sciences, educational materials, and questionnaires in general. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and native speaker of Turkish, so I mostly work on English-Turkish pair. I can usually respond to e-mails no later than half an hour, I'm very strict about deadlines and take urgent jobs during work hours.

In June 2022, I graduated from Istanbul University, Department of German Translation and Interpreting. I have been professionally providing translation services to many translation companies and offices for 1 year. I specialize in technical, legal and medical translations.

I am Turkish and Azerbaijani citizen, and speaking both languages as mother tongue. I have studied an English medium university and hence, I speak English fluently. Besides, I worked in Russia and learnt Russian language also.

I have a diploma in Translation and Interpretation Studies from one of the most prestigious universities in Turkey, and I have spent 3 months in Canada to enhance my technical competencies upon its completion. I have gained technical experience in English-Turkish technology translation for press with major companies such as Nokia, alongside translation for other diverse subjects. I also possess some knowledge of Russian and German, although my expertise lies in English-Turkish and Turkish-English translation.
