I am a student of Translation and Interpreting Studies who works as a Turkish native freelance translator.

I have been providing localization services to industry-leading customers such as Apple, Microsoft, Google, IBM, Twitter, Lenovo, Dell, Sony, Oracle, etc. through some agencies. Working on a time-restricted schedule, I provide timely deliveries with a main focus on customer satisfaction, which requires being highly detail-oriented with a commitment to quality. I am a passionate academic professor, and I love literature. I have been enroled in many successful translating projects. I work as a freelancer translator since 2016.

I have been a freelance vendor for various localization projects since 2013, mostly working with SDL, El Turco and Localex. In the mean time I had the chance to work with several Cat and QA tools like: Trados Studio, MemoQ, Wordfast, Smartcat, Memsource, Transistor, Verifika, Apsic Xbench and so on.

I have Bachelor's Degree in Translation & Interpreting Studies at Yeditepe University in Istanbul. Since the beginning of my education at this department, I have done many translations in EN > TR and TR > EN language pairs. I did my internship at ES Language Services, which is the first localization company to be established in Turkey and is widely known in localization sector. I have gained experience in website localization, IT texts and some other fields I listed on my profile during my internship and my education. I also translate contents for two magazines in Turkey, Düşünbil and Libido, and a translation newspaper, which can be found on www.ceviriyoruz.org website.
