Having studied in the departments of English Language Teaching & French Language and Literature at leading universities in Turkey, I have been working now for 9 years as a certified English & French translator in almost every field of translation.

I am a native Turkish speaker and a certified translator/interpreter with over 10 years of experience in translation, interpreting and proofreading. I have studied and lived in English speaking countries for many years. I started working as a full-time sworn in-house translator in 2007 and worked continuously for the the same translation/localization agency for 10 years until March 2017. I may not be a graduate of language and translation studies (my background includes Political Science and Sociology) but I firmly believe that what I lack in formal training I more than make up for with 10 years of daily on-the-job experience.

I have a diploma in Translation and Interpretation Studies from one of the most prestigious universities in Turkey, and I have spent 3 months in Canada to enhance my technical competencies upon its completion. I also possess some knowledge of Russian and German, although my expertise lies in English-Turkish and Turkish-English translation.
