Hi, my name is Andrés and I am a professional translator. I hold a BA in Translation and Interpreting from the Central University of Venezuela and an AD in Computer Programming from Belgrano University. I started my journey as a freelancer back in 2012, and since then I have been collaborating with agencies and direct clients mostly from the US and Europe. My native language is Spanish from Venezuela, but most of my work has been focused on US and neutral Spanish and targeted to US and Latin American audiences. My main field of expertise is information technology, although I have also been involved in many projects related to other fields, mostly human resources and health care. Besides, in early 2020 I started to take my first baby steps as a freelance full-stack web developer, which has allowed me to gain hands-on experience in my field of expertise.

As a translator (German, English, and French into Spanish), my mission is to help my customers expand into new markets. Because so many things are at stake when dealing with technical language, I am very, do terminology research, and deliver on time. Always.

I translate from English and French into Spanish (Spain variety) and I proofread Spanish texts. I have a B.A. Degree in English Studies and a B.A. Degree in Translation and Interpreting and I have worked as a translator, project manager and interpreter in the last years. I have experience in several fields, such as telecommunications, trade or tourism.
