I am a professional translator since 2012. I grew up in France in a Spanish family, so I learned very early both languages. I studied law in France and Spain so I can translate to both languages. I am a sworn translator before the Tribunal Judiciaire of Perpignan and often perform translations and interpretations for this institution in the legal field (hearings, confrontations, reports, court decisions etc ..) I translate websites, contracts, business presentations, products descriptions, medical records etc ....

Professional translator with 10 years of experience. I'm specialised in marketing, financial and technical translation. My working languages are English and French into Spanish (native). I also offer transcreation and copywriting services. My main qualifications are: MA in Translation and Interpreting, BA in Conference Interpreting and a copywriting, marketing translation and transcreation course by Trágora Formación. I have worked as an internal translator for Michelin España, translating technical SOPs and manuals; as well as for other manufacturing industries. As a freelancer, most of the translations I perform on a daily basis are technical and marketing related.

After 4 years of working as a freelance translator, I have acquired experience in different fields, mainly website and software localisation, marketing (brochures, newsletters...), education and sworn translations French-Spanish. I love making my translations natural so I put all my attention and research abilities to offer the best possible option.

My name is Cristina Fernández and I am a full-time Spanish translator and proofreader. I hold a degree in Translation and Interpreting (University of Salamanca, 2012). I am native in Spanish (EU) and I am fluent in English and French. I have 10 years of experience, one as an in-house Project Manager for a Spanish Agency (McFelder Translations) and 9 as a freelancer, working with several agencies as well as direct clients (Booking.com, Amazon.com and others).

As a Philosophy student I focused in the field of Linguistics, which during college I combined with my passion for learning foreign languages: French and Russian, as well as perfecting my English. My interest in language and logic has led me to specialize also in modern fields such as software development translations, gaming localization, AI input/output editing, etc. After college I started learning Arabic language, also combined with my job as an editorial coordinator for institutionalized magazines belonging to professionals' associations of engineers and industrial chambers.

I translate from English and French into Spanish (Spain variety) and I proofread Spanish texts. I have a B.A. Degree in English Studies and a B.A. Degree in Translation and Interpreting and I have worked as a translator, project manager and interpreter in the last years. I have experience in several fields, such as telecommunications, trade or tourism. However, I specially work with medical and pharmaceutical translations (safety data sheets, patient leaflets, clinical trials, internal reports of the pharmaceutical industry…) and every text related to India (culture, history, literature…) and yoga.
