I have been working in companies in Hamburg for the past two years as a student assistant. In the last two jobs I had (one at a statistics company and another at an international cooperation NGO) I have been tasked regularly to translate documents from French to English and from English to French. Additionally, I grew up in the bilingual city of Montréal where these two languages are used interchangeably. This included company literature, magazines, services brochures, finance manuals, computers manuals, Web sites, voice over scripts and subtitles. - From 2011 to 2015, I became a Translation System Manager, implementing the SDL WorldServer solution in my department, setting up the software including workflows and filters, writing training material for the translators and translation manager and getting the system in used.
