I am a professional translator/interpreter from Yekaterinburg, Russia. Free lance experience since 1998 (see details in my CV attached hereto). I mainly work in the field of industry, especially metallurgy, as our region has been developing since the 18th century around metal extraction and metal work. I am able to provide on site translation service as well as translation of any documents supporting your project - from technical data sheets and descriptions to contracts and reports. In 2013, I started translating articles for the Russian Academy of Sciences (the Ural Branch). Since that time, no article has been refused by foreign publishing houses and offices for a poor quality of translation.

I have been working in companies in Hamburg for the past two years as a student assistant. In the last two jobs I had (one at a statistics company and another at an international cooperation NGO) I have been tasked regularly to translate documents from French to English and from English to French. Additionally, I grew up in the bilingual city of Montréal where these two languages are used interchangeably. I hold a MSc in Computer Science, Electrical engineering and Telecommunications from a leading French university and have worked for the last 15 years in various technological areas, including Cloud-based technologies (Amazon AWS, Salesforce.com), electronics, GPS and satellite software and hardware development. Freelancing gives me more time with my wife and three young boys and the flexibility to explore the world. It also allows me to work with people from all over the world and from different backgrounds.
