Hi, I'm John Allan Roeser, an experienced translator with a proven track record in English to German and Dutch translations, and vice versa. I grew up in the Netherlands near the German border, attended a German school, and had friends from Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium, which allowed me to develop fluency in both German and Dutch. Since 2011, I've gained valuable experience in multilingual tasks through my work experience as both a BPO contractor and an in-house employee. I have provided translation services for various industries, including marketing, legal, technical, and medical fields. I had a few projects on Tolq but mainly worked here on Smartcat, where I've completed 410 projects to date. I am a German translator living in The Netherlands. I have extensive knowledge in the fields of law, finance, medicine, because I also worked as a professional in these professions in Germany.

Starting as interpreter and translator during the balkan war, while studying German language in Zagreb, I moved 1995 to Austria, where I live ever since. I am Croatian and German native with profund knowledge of English language. In the meanwhile I was working in big international companies like European Telecom International, a company of Telefonica, and DHL. Since 2012 I am self-employed and work as translator and writer.
