Professional translator

I have been dealing with several different professions so far. At the beginning I worked as a teacher at Primary School. Then I worked for a company in whcih I was responsible for hte following issues: - -Making payrolls. - entering invoices in the books, - drawing up and sending documents and e-documents to governmental offices, - translations (written and oral) and interpreting (during business meetings). Year later I began to work for my present job where I mainly have similar duties as in my previous job but, apart from them, I had to master some more: - maintaining good business relations with current business partners, - accepting and fulfiling purchase orders, - coordinating the whole process from the order to the shipment of a given product, - coordinating shipments, - finding new business partners worldwide, - keeping export documents, - participation in international trade fairs.

I´m experienced in specialized texts (health, medicine and pharmaceutics, technology, economy, finance, law, marketing, cosmetics and others). I've got a C1 Certificate of Spanish (DELE), preparing for C2. I´ve got a Master´s degree in Specialized Translation (FR-ES, EN-ES) from the University of Cordoba, Spain. I also studied French Philology at the Jagiellonian University of Cracow, Poland (Bachelor). I always meet deadlines and I use specialized sources to guarantee the correct use of terminology. I am a freelance German/English <> Polish translator specialising in technical, marketing and community translations. I also hold credentials of a NAATI Certified Translator (English to Polish) and a NAATI Recognised Practising Translator (German to Polish), for the latter as the only translator with such credentials in Australia. I am a member of POLSiT (the Australian Institute of the Polish Language Interpreters and Translators) and AUSIT (the Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators).

I started my adventure with languages when I was 16 years old. Learning new vocabulary and translating the texts (mostly about entertainment, photography, news, games, or travel) became my favorite thing to do. Right now, after more than ten years, I still feel very passionate about languages, and I am improving my skills and learning additionally French, Spanish, Japanese, or Korean.
