I am an experienced Russian and Romanian translator/proofreader/transcriber with a strong focus on the tourism and hospitality industries. I have always had a keen interest in languages and I have successfully worked with several language service providers on various translation projects that demanded attention to details and working around tight deadlines.

I have discovered my passion for languages at a very young age when I started encountering tourists who were visiting my town. Later on, I was able to transform my passion into my most powerful asset. As a freelance translator, I combine languages with my interest in technology as I mostly focus on website or software localisation. I am also happy to translate marketing and advertising texts which often require a lot of creativity and a very good feel for the language in order to have the same effect in the target language.

I've entered the field of translation in 2016 after being involved in other activities after finishing my masters in Translation studies. So, it was somehow going back to my first love. Since that moment translating has become my main activity, working as a freelance translator with agencies and private clients ever since. In this globalized world, when connections are very important in every field, whether we talk about business, travel, private life or medical issue, I feel that translators are that bridge that allow people to get where they need or where they want. Aerospace Structures engineer with a focus on programming and a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics.
