After working for several years for different translation companies, as secondary job, offering translations services from English into Romanian, as well as from Romanian into English, mainly technical documents, I decided to offer my services as a freelance translator in Smartcat, as well. Some of the major companies for which I translated different types of documents I can name Kraft Jacobs Suchard, GlaxoSmithKline, Dexion, Kärcher, among sporadic jobs for Romanian companies. You will not be able to find any samples of my work, other than the standard Smartcat sample document, since I have never asked acceptance from my customers to use parts of the translated documents for personal purposes. Aerospace Structures engineer with a focus on programming and a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics. Received a translator's diploma from the Ministry of Culture in 2020, with 9.12 / 9.25 points out of 10 for English-Romanian / Romanian-English literary translation. I have worked with texts from a variety of fields, including content for several websites, mobile app interfaces, video subtitles (predominantly English to Romanian), short stories and a historical fiction novel (Romanian to English).

I am fascinated by foreign languages, linguistics, semiotics and I am currently working as a translator coordinator in the field of medical imaging.

All my courses and exams at the University were in English so I've been working as a technical translator after the graduation. I also had other jobs but the higher-education in English made me settle as a freelance technical translator.
