My name is Martin Sonia, a professional translator. I have been working with the GENGO team since 2014.

I am a native Spanish speaker from Argentina living in Brazil since 2007. I studied English-Spanish translation in Argentina before coming to Brazil, and became a bachelor in Letters here in Brazil in 2013. I teach both Spanish and Portuguese as a foreign language. In translation I have worked in several fields, from literature and Human/Social Sciences to movies and sports, or form sales logistics to Geo Sciences and Telecom

I have been translating for over 30 years. I am also a published writer.

I've been working as a professional translator since 2015, when I finished my degree. After that, I completed two masters and I am currently carrying out my PdH research. I speak five languages, German, English, Italian, French and Spanish. I work as well as a foreign language teacher at college.

I am a Freelance Translator, at your service on your aim to reach people beyond borders and cultural differences by bringing down the language barriers through translation. My native language is Tagalog/Filipino, a language that is spoken by millions of people, not only within our country but also by the immigrants and overseas workers worldwide; English, on the other hand, is our second language. While living abroad, I learned my third language, Spanish (Latin America).
