During this time I have honed several skills, such as working quickly, accurately and always with the client\'s need in mind. Many tasks consisted of Swedish localization of English terms, which has greatly increased my acumen and speed. Although at university I studied primarily philosophy (but also history as an undergraduate), I have always had a strong interest in English language and literature and have taken every opportunity to pursue this interest; for example during summers in Edinburgh and London. Spending most of my spare time reading has also increased my knowledge and understanding of the English language and how best to translate it. During my time at Swedish universities much of the teaching was conducted in English and I wrote virtually every paper and thesis in the language I love.
