I have Bachelor's Degree in Translation & Interpreting Studies at Yeditepe University in Istanbul. Since the beginning of my education at this department, I have done many translations in EN > TR and TR > EN language pairs. I did my internship at ES Language Services, which is the first localization company to be established in Turkey and is widely known in localization sector. I have gained experience in website localization, IT texts and some other fields I listed on my profile during my internship and my education. I am a student of Translation and Interpreting Studies who works as a Turkish native freelance translator.

Working as localization specialist for major accounts in IT, marketing, ERP, technical and legal since 2015. Before being freelancer, I have worked in company which is exclusive SAP SE localization partner in Turkey. I took part in localization of corporate and legal texts as well as translation processes of the SAP SE systems. Aside from ERP, I have gained experience in IT, marketing and technical texts. During my career, I have also worked as a project manager for 9 months and managed projects for major companies from IT, marketing (mainly tourism and travel) and technical fields.

I have been translating from English to my native Turkish since 1995. I have a n engineering background and a solid industrial experience in manufacturing, QA/QC and OHSA fields.

I have a diploma in Translation and Interpretation Studies from one of the most prestigious universities in Turkey, and I have spent 3 months in Canada to enhance my technical competencies upon its completion.
