In June 2022, I graduated from Istanbul University, Department of German Translation and Interpreting. I have been professionally providing translation services to many translation companies and offices for 1 year. I specialize in technical, legal and medical translations.

I have been doing translations since 2006. I'm also running a translation agency, however that's a separate business, and you can be sure that all translations at smartcat are done by me personally. I am a certified translator, conference interpreter, engineer and Candidate of technical sciences (kandidat nauk). My language-related hobbies include etymology and comparative linguistics. * Yes, I do speak several languages. * No, I am not fluent enought in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish, Azerbaijani or Arabic to translate TO these languages, but I do understand them enough to translate FROM them.

I have a B.B.A in Economics from Anadolu University and 18 years of experience as a translator, localizer and interpreter, including interpretation, proofreading, transcription, consultancy and business communications. I worked for many translation offices in Turkey and abroad as a freelancer. In my 18 years as a freelancer I have helped a great number of businesses improve their market share by improving their documentation and communication. My clients include advertising agencies, public relations firms, company marketing departments, large stores, marketing firms, magazines, TV's and creative agencies. Also I was working as interviewer for UNHCR on the verification of registration data of Syrian refugees in Ankara.As a native Turkish, I am fluent in Arabic and English. I am pretty flexible with respect to working hours and deadlines. I will review your content as many times as it takes for it to exceed your expectations!
