Having studied in the departments of English Language Teaching & French Language and Literature at leading universities in Turkey, I have been working now for 9 years as a certified English & French translator in almost every field of translation.

I have graduated from the Translation and Interpreting Studies Department of Yeditepe University. The experience I have accumulated as a student of one of the most prestigious universities in the country has been valuable for improving my speed, learning work ethics, and getting accustomed to diverse fields. I have been working for over two years as a professional freelancer now and this has improved my flexibility and my ability to adapt to different demands of various clients. I have a B.B.A in Economics from Anadolu University and 18 years of experience as a translator, localizer and interpreter, including interpretation, proofreading, transcription, consultancy and business communications. I worked for many translation offices in Turkey and abroad as a freelancer. In my 18 years as a freelancer I have helped a great number of businesses improve their market share by improving their documentation and communication. My clients include advertising agencies, public relations firms, company marketing departments, large stores, marketing firms, magazines, TV's and creative agencies. Also I was working as interviewer for UNHCR on the verification of registration data of Syrian refugees in Ankara.As a native Turkish, I am fluent in Arabic and English. I am a certified translator, conference interpreter, engineer and Candidate of technical sciences (kandidat nauk). My language-related hobbies include etymology and comparative linguistics. * Yes, I do speak several languages. * No, I am not fluent enought in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish, Azerbaijani or Arabic to translate TO these languages, but I do understand them enough to translate FROM them.
